If you get a stain on it, try cleaning just the spot.
With dust, you can use a sticky roller to remove.
Please note, the initial time you try and close it back up is a little tricky, but let me tell you, it will soon become second nature.
It is easier to roll in both ends and then button them. Do this on both sides, then button the top.
